3D sculpted simulation

I have a 3D design that is placed upon a fairly close model of the concave obverse (based it on a Mint profile of the coin). Will this be an acceptable form to present my design? If not, I will submit my design in 2D format only to get it in before deadline. Please advise. Thanks!!!
