Approved edit can't be submitted

I was allowed an approved edit (Hall of Fame) as I needed to remove all reverences to the hall (Rule 21). I made my corrections, uploaded the new drawing and PDF file, deleted the old drawing and the submit icon disappeared. It was replaced by the word Save, which I depressed. Nothing happened. My file now shows the PDF file but state "no image". Have I lost the ability to compete because of the changes to Rule 21 and the software on Challenghe.gov?
